Wolwedans Desert Lodge is perched on top of a dunes plateau some eight kilometres north of the Wolwedans Dune Camp and overlooks panoramic vistas in all directions, capturing the desert in a most memorable way.
The building style is a combination of wooden structures, large canvas blinds and windows that open up to the desert beyond. The lodge reflects the ambience of a tented camp, but provides the comfort and protection of a permanent building. Each of the ten spacious Chalets with En-suite bathrooms leads onto a private veranda and vast stretches of untouched sand. Sleeping with your canvas blinds open is as good as sleeping under the stars.
The main complex consists of two lounges, a number of sundowner decks, a fireplace, a tea deck, a library, swimming pool, the wine cellar and two dining rooms. All communal areas of the Wolwedans Desert Lodge open out onto verandas with superb views.

Childrens Policy
We regret that this establishment is not suitable for children aged 6 years or younger, unless the family is booked exclusively into one of the following Camps: Dune Camp Private, Mountain View Suite and Plains Camp. Children sharing with 2 adults (or in an igloo tent pitched on parents' deck): 7 to 18 years = Rates on request. Children older than 18 years pay the full adult sharing or single rate.
Booking Notices
A minimum 2 nights stay is applicable. Fixed arrival days (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) apply (closed on Sundays).
Payment Terms
Please note that the full requested payment is due on receipt of the booking invoice to secure room availability if booked within 8 weeks of arrival date. A 50% booking deposit payment is due on bookings made prior to 8 weeks of arrival date with the remainder settlement amount payable 8 weeks before arrival date. Full payment is due on receipt of invoice when booking certain establishments. Payment can be made by electronic bank transfer (EFT) or online-payment with credit card or debit card (MasterCard & VISA). Bank charges are not included in the rates and are for your account.
Cancellation Policy
Room Cancellations:
All cancellations are subject to a minimum 40% of the total booking amount handling fee.
